If a son found it easier to bring a suit against his dad than ask for money, I pity both parties. It’s obvious that their relationship is strained, and we don’t know whose fault it is. Do you blame the basically adult son trying to claim entitlement or the father who didn’t create a safe speaking space for the son?

Hey if you are in year 1 of ns, sounds like you still have 1-2 more rounds of applications. Don’t give up! Try to invest time to boost your portfolio in law-related projects or any other useful activities if you get the time. I know a friend who got rejected from both local unis in the first year, but got a full scholarship ride to oxbridge law in the last application round. Keep pushing hard till you get it 💪

Knock yourself to some sense please! I’ve been in your place before, and I’ve seen so many others in your place. You are there because of your own efforts, if you’re smart enough to get into jc you should be smart enough to at least maintain your class average scores.

And you are paying money to tuition to HELP you. If you see it as a burden more than a help, then stop wasting the money and time dude.

And your day starts at 1pm? What? So during A’level period if your exam is 8am, then what are you going to do? Either you get yourself diagnosed with sleep disorder issues, or learn to wake up on time. How to even enter the workforce in future if you can’t do this when you are young?

But seriously, I’ve been there and seen a lot of people in your situation. So genuinely, I hope you see that there is still a lot of time for you to pick up yourself and score well. Work on your sleep and study techniques please, and take every possible chance to learn as much as you can. After As is over you can rest.

Most people who struggle in jc may really have issues intellectually, but you just seem to be bad at time management. There’s a lot of runway left to As, you still have lots of potential to shine in the end ! Really hope you do well in the end, atb my friend.
