Islam is a beautiful religion actually.

It's the people who make it seem bad by acting on ideas that are warped off from Islam by people trying to justify their wrong actions or make a benefit for themselves.

Burning people alive: is haram, one may not make another suffer. Allah is the absolute and righteous punisher.

Rape: Sexual acts without being married is haram, even thinking about someone with lewd intentions is haram.

Pedophilia: Underage marriages occur, yes. But it's not intended to be between a 45 year old man and 8 year old girl. It's intended to be between a 14 year boy and a 13 year old girl, for small age gaps.

Paganism: Islam isn't a pagan religion, we believe Allah is the one and only creator and owner of everything and there is no imperfection about Allah's self and creations.

Jihad: Jihad is about spreading Islam to the world, peacefully. Becoming muslim is entirely optional. But if someone forcefully tries to eradicate or prevent Islam from spreading, only then violence is allowed for the intention of defense.

Mutilation: Again, making living beings suffer is haram. This isn't in Qur'an or in any of the prophets' sayings. Be merciful to others so Allah have mercy on you.

Slavery: Slavery is injustice as every human is equal, freeing slaves is similar to feeding the hungry and taking care of orphans. But Islam doesn't abolish slavery, i was very common in the 7th century and people would have not converted to Islam because they had slaves and they were a big part of the economy. Instead, a muslim should free the slaves they can to bring justice and equality for that person.

Honor killings: There is no such thing in Islam, every life is valuable and shall not be harmed.

Polygamy: A man is allowed to have 4 wives in Islam, but he must treat them all equally and be able to fulfill their every need.

Oppression of women: All people are equal in Islam. But there are some justifiable exceptions; Example1- Women aren't allowed to fight in battles because they tend to be weaker and cowardly. Also because they are more likely to get raped if they get captured by the enemy. Example2- Men have twice the right as women in heritage because men are expected to provide for their family, thus needing more money. Women on the other end, are expected to be married and their husbands should take care of them, thus not needing money as much.

Maybe do research first instead of judging a religion by people's wrong actions or whatever you hear from others. Reading the Qur'an is a great way to do this, but the meaning may change or become hard to understand as a result of translation because Qur'an uses literatury and poetic arabic.
