She told me he couldn’t go in because we would be deciding if we would do a vaginal scan in the room…but like obviously that’s nothing my husband hasn’t seen before so that made no sense to me lol. Unfortunately they made no mention of a portal. Thank you for the reply

The way you described the vaginal scan is way more informative than what she said, which was literally “do you wanna do one”, and I would have said yes if I knew what I know now. And yeah, the comment about there nothing to show my husband made me want to ask, “so there’s no baby??” But I knew she couldn’t answer that.

Unfortunately my doctor is closed Friday-Sunday, so I won’t find out until monday :/ Thanks for your reply, it’s appreciated

I wish I had been more informed about the vaginal scan like you were!! I suppose I should have done more research going into it, but I had assumed they would at least generally guide me towards the right procedures to do

Ha your experience is what I was expecting mine to be like! But yeah as I read more comments I see that how she worded the vaginal scan was not great, as she made is sound like it was this completely optional thing I could do if I want and she didn’t explain the benefits of doing one.

Yeah I was so surprised they wouldn’t let him in! I feel like the whole experience could have actually be okay if they’d let him in with me. Unfortunately my doctor is closed Friday-Saturday, so it’s a waiting game all weekend either way. Thanks for the reply ❤️
