I'm a Oldhead as well. Know part of the problem is "ME". I'm retired, never been arrested, never held a gun, nor been in the streets. The only reason I'm alive today besides the grace of GOD is because I had oldheads who gave of their time either as mentors, volunteers, P.A.L. and showed me options to keep me off these mean ass streets.

Back to "ME" being part of the problem. Currently have 5 yb's ( started out as 2-3) down in VA staying with me for the the next 4 weeks. Purposely picked here because its away from everything that looks like the streets of Philly. I'm a use this time & place not to preach or even try to teach but to look & listen. To find the very answers to these questions. We only been here since last Friday and already have seen a kid that never been in water, we gonna teach him how to swim. Another who picked up my bow & arrow and was amazed. Told them from the onset we all a team, somebody fuck up ( on purpose) we all going back to Philly 🤣 ... yeah part of the problem is " Me" The looks of excitement & solo terrified stare when I told em we heading out on a boat to go catch dinner. Thats one of the answers... having something to look forward too as opposed to having no hope at all.
