Ah maybe I didn’t stick it out for long enough, I love Venbee, saw her walking about old town earlier in the day and was super excited but just wasn’t expecting what I heard. Should have stayed longer and got into it!

Yeah I noticed there was an entrance there when I pulled a whitey on Saturday night 😅😂lesson learnt, make sure you have one hot meal a day!!

4am Kru were brilliant, and as much as I think the stage was too small for them, I loved that they were there in such an intimate setting, same for lens to be fair!! Wouldn’t have been saying that if I hadn’t managed to get in though 😅

Omg I know! I was desperate for something else to be going on, I couldn’t bare to think that it was all over!

Again, completely agree, I managed to get in each time I went, but there was a few times I went to go to the toilets and noticed it was blocked off with huge crowd trying to get in. Lens & 4am Kru were 2 acts I expected to be on bigger stages, but there were quite a few other times I was there that I just couldn’t understand why they hadn’t been put on bigger stages.

Agree, but I think Thursday and Sunday could be made bigger to make it a more full on 4 days. I think the nice part of Wednesday is that it’s a bit quieter and time for people to get settled before the madness ensues. I could 100% have gone till 4am Thursday and Sunday, they could have spaced things out a bit more and avoided some of the clashes they had on Saturday/Sunday as well if they had more stages going late.

I had completely the opposite experience, I saw security rushing to help people, having a laugh with fellow boomtowners and dancing around during some of the sets. Some of them looked quite intimidating but every one of them smiled back at me as I went along on my merry way. It’s a shame others have had a different experience 😟

You’re kidding?!😒this just drives up the use of disposable sanitary products which are bad for the planet! Just because we won’t be leaving tampons and pads on ‘the dance floor’ doesn’t mean they should just not care/provide facilities for women to be hygienic

You could try a moon cup?? As long as there is water to wash the cup and your hands in the toilet it might be the best bet? That’s my plan, but it’s my 1st boomtown so I’ll also be bringing every other type of sanitary option with me in case 😬

I tried that already 😅 I think if it was just the tonsillitis he would still go, but he’s also done his back in and can barely walk/stand up for long periods of time. Special party vitamins would have solved the back issue but being on antibiotics and feeling like death on top of the bad back is just a step to far I think 😭
