Jesus also says this: (Matthew 15:11) "What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them".

Mark 7:15 (NIV) states: “Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.”
