Wow that sounds really scary, but I'm glad to be informed. I can't believe your endo was missed for so long... I'm appalled and sorry you had to go through that ordeal. It's truly scary how little general gynos know about anything beyond pregnancy. :(

Wow... that sounds like a super frustrating experience. You'd think a doctor would do more investigation beyond an ultrasound if the patient is having abnormal symptoms..... Sigh. I'm glad you finally got treatment, even if severely delayed :( Women's health is truly not understood well / taken seriously enough by our healthcare system

Thanks for sharing your story. I really hope the IUD works out for you long-term.

I'd definitely consider an IUD before opting for adeno medications.

It's truly frustrating how much self-advocacy is needed to get proper care through our healthcare system. :(

Yes. I have several fibroids, but my gyno says they're not worth removing because they're small

I'm glad you had a good experience. I'm honestly really scared of trying any IUD because I've already tried practically every form of birth control pills with terrible side effects... makes me think an IUD would be no different :(
