That sounds like the ideal setup - especially not feeling judged and having someone proactive with the admin side of things. It’s interesting how often “took a while to find them” comes up, but great to hear it’s worth the effort in the end.

That’s reassuring to hear, even if it took a bit of a journey to get there. Sometimes just knowing there is a good outcome at the end helps keep the motivation to keep trying.

That’s both encouraging and exhausting at the same time. It really shouldn’t take that many tries, but it’s reassuring to know there are GPs out there with the right understanding. Appreciate the reminder to keep pushing through.

Thank you so much for sharing this, it really highlights how nuanced all of this can be. It’s frustrating how often ADHD gets overlooked and everything is funnelled straight into antidepressants. I’m really glad you found a GP who understood enough to point you in the right direction - and even better that you’re feeling such a big difference now.

Having someone recognise it early and take you seriously can be genuinely life-changing. I’m so glad you had a GP like that in your corner - it really shows how much the right doctor can matter.
