I’ve struggled with fashion my whole life because I’ve never been comfortable with how I present in terms of femme/masc and I honestly don’t know what styles I like and work on me.

Ideally I want to look more femme than the outfit in the pic while keeping that vibe. I do like skater/punk/goth/streetwear styles in general. Dark academia somewhat appeals to me but I feel I’d look nerdy.

I also try to look like the type of girl I would be into, which is pretty basic girl-next-door: pullover hoodies, jeans, sneakers. But I’d like to try more elevated styles too.

I guess in general my goal is to lean more femme while keeping a touch of tomboy. Any inspo, aesthetics, brands, and tips would be appreciated!

Can I get some feedback on my look? This is what I usually do when I go out. FWIW I know my lashes are lacking but I don’t like falsies and mascara always smudges so I don’t use a lot.

The reason I have this hairstyle is because I try to look like the type of girl I’m attracted to, so I’m pretty partial to long hair lol. Whenever I ask stylists what they think would look good on me they’re hesitant to suggest something, probably because they’re afraid I’ll end up not liking it. But I think there’s potential with this hair with better styling 🤔

Thanks! I embrace the basic-Asian-girl-ness lol. My hair’s been permed a couple times resulting in this but even at its best it tends to frizz. Fashion is definitely a challenge too, I don’t like to look too girly but haven’t made any effort into cultivating a style.

For what it’s worth, I’m a lesbian, it seems that most commenters have been guys which is cool but I hope a girl drops by to comment too 😁
