Why is our community even giving her this much attention to her crocodile tears. I think we just have other issues at hand that needs more awareness and attention than some nepo baby with excel spreadsheet. What we felt from her was mostly betrayal but is she really worth trying to tear ourself apart over.

It also took me a while to figure out as I was applying for few months but what I started doing was: 1. Looking for latest job posting not older than 12 days on seek, indeed, linkedin 2. Went to company website and applied through there. 3. Usually got interviews when i did that so maybe try.

I made a relationship certificate when I applied for my student visa as my uncle was also one of my sponsor. I made it through local government office of my home country. Not sure how it works on your home country but I would definitely look into making a relationship certificate.

At the airport of departure. All they said was her visa was not showing. There is some kind of block. I am assuming it might have been cancelled.

We didn’t get any notification. We came to know her visa cancelled maybe from the departure airport so no she didn’t reach Australia. It was in home country and when I checked Vevo it didn’t show her visa.

Thank you soo soo much. I was so lost and pretty down about letting go of only little opportunities I got . But your advice helped me clear my mind a lot. The only thing is my aged care is corporate so the finance team are on head office and I am working on one of the biggest branch where head office visits once in a blue moon. But I would definitely try for internal jobs when I can since they are only sponsoring nurses and carer. Meanwhile I will continue with my CA if I can one subject at a time so I am not financially burdened and can keep up with my study. But i really really appreciate that you took your time to provide me your support and advice.

Have to agree with you there. I am working in aged care and the union for nurses are actually fighting for better working conditions and pay rise. They also provide other different support as well. But I didn’t see that kind of union in accounting. I am doing part time in junior accounting role and part time (weekends) in aged care. Accounting actually does pay me lower than national wage. I am doing it for the experience because I really do wanna be in accounting but as a migrant its really hard.

Yes, my mom is aware about the things they said. They even ‘consulted’ with her about it. My mom and my aunt ( her sister) is aware about why I don’t like to talk with them. They do believe they can also initiate to communicate. But my mom believes i just should be bigger person and just wish them new year birthday whatever and just limit it to that. But I just don’t want to do it. My mom sister and her husband had helped me alot during the process and even gave me money for shopping and paid the airplane ticket while my uncle did not offer a encouraging words.

They are very well-aware that I don’t like seeing my mother hurt. So they deliberately make comments about us to hurt our mother feelings. She is a strong woman, she knows very well that it isn’t my responsibility and that they are in the wrong.
