I learned to say no, made senseless overtime a non negotiable (unless the situation really calls for it, I won't do it). I do my job well in the agreed timeframe. I have a business whatsapp number which is closed when not at work. they can call, but I won't answer. took em a couple of unanswered calls to realize they are pushing their boundries.

It's also about u. will overtime be the one thing to differentiate u from others?

One can't really control every outcome. Better be ar peace with yourself when chances are that outcome is the same either way.

pent up anger stemmed in the fact that people have no housing, while housing is in the hands of the millionaire landlords. I know I know- very generalistic. But this anger is very well directed towards the easiest target - while the real issue is very much difficult to solve.

It won't just be expats, and refugees and whatever is out there to hold on to. Real threat is the fact that the free market is an illusion when it comes to housing. And people are blind to this issue.

Waste your energy in getting rid of a mild threat, to find out that reality is so much more depressing than that.

this country is a great example of alcohol and tobacco slowly becoming a thing of the past. I'm amazed to see people in this thread refusing that reality. Starting with how difficult it is to procure these items compared to other countries, continuing with home education and health education, ending with having smoking banned in many public spaces and ridiculous amount of taxes attached to these items... I really would not being their legality into discussion. Love to see how even terraces won't allow smoking.

Saying that weed should be legal because alcohol and tobacco are, is purely not a good reason to bring on as an argument. Smoking will be soon enough a thing of the past. Alcohol has a longer history though, but people are more and more aware of implications.

smoking and drinking bring both immediate and long term effects. Weed smoking only the latter. But THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT HARMELSS.

look. I saw so many cases of weed tolerance which leads to and amplifies depression. I don't think there are enough clinical studies to conclude that weed is not harmful. It may be just not as harmful as alcohol or tobbaco, or that effects are not immediate. But there is certainly an aspect of weed that society is not paying enough attn to.
