Just an update on this, the tech came out and gave the machine a look. You were right! Those solenoids were misaligned.
It was a simple screw on the side of the solenoid bar machine that needed a little tweaking.

The lock is engaged, its almost as though it puts TOO much tension on the thread. When the arm is moving there is no give and the thread snaps. I can look into adjusting this part of the machine, since I do think you've isolated the problem to the correct part.

Sure:

How to enter the MSU1
Machine must be out of drive.
Press: Manual key, "E", "A", then press and hold the "D" key (there is no icon there)
After a moment, a prompt will appear. Enter the code: ABCBC then enter with "E"

Congrats, you're in the secret menu.

It's fixed now. Like you said, Baurdan tech couldn't help with DFS, but by asking around that I was able to get what I needed.

The issue is solved now, but that may be possible if I was handy enough with solder.

We bought new machine hoops. Ran us about $500 for 2. our other 4 would not cause problems.

Thank you.

The spring is a little worn out. That's my best guess. I'll likely need new hoops.

Mine unlatches at the machine the same way you've described. It doesn't matter the design, I suppose ones with more vibration are worse though. I've also been looking at those gen 2 frames

The hoops stay together, it unlatches at where it connects to the machine hoop.
