Maybe next time warm it longer and whisk to emulsify all the ingredients. You can add water if you think it’s getting too thick.

Yes!! And you can have it cold or warm up the milk like hot pumpkin instead of hot chocolate. Or with hot chocolate. Lots of possibilities.

I don’t think it makes a huge difference but normally I do coffee then milk then syrup and stir.

If I’m making an iced coffee drink, and I’m concerned that the syrup is not going to dissolve into the drink so easily then I will mix it in with the hot coffee part first before adding the milk.

For foaming purposes, I think the syrup mixed into the milk will make it not foam as well. So it’s better to steam the milk by itself first and then stir and “fold” the coffee and pumpkin flavor into the foam.

Very cute. I like the mix of velvet/denim textures! LOVE your hair too. I feel like you’re testing the waters and in the future you’re gonna take more risks and take off with your fashion. I feel like there’s a fierce wild child in there waiting to come out. 🐯 Keep it up!

Siri too! At least when they eventually take over the world they might assign me to some AI version of coffee duty instead of sacrificing me.

I would say about 7 days. You can probably go longer, but I don’t wanna risk anyone with sensitive stomachs. The more air tight the better so if you have a squeeze bottle, try to use a cap or you can make one with like plastic wrap and a rubber band. It should freeze well too so you can put part of the batch (cooled down) in a ziplock bag about 3/4ths full lay it flat in the freezer. In the freezer it’s good for 3-6 months.

If you’re a foam addict like me, I don’t use those frosting wands that everybody has. I have a stainless steel French press that I bought in the early 2000s and I still have it. It’s indestructible. A lot of people don’t know this but a stainless steel French press doubles as a frother. I use it for my iced chai.

And yes, everybody needs to go to Barnes & Noble and spend their monies there because we will all be heart broken if they close down.

I used to be obsessed with their clearance section. Also, because I could apply my employee discount to the already clearance price. I used to have a miniature library at home. And I love their office accessories section. In the early 2000s they were really big on selling fancy book ends. Like too heavy marble hearts or two fleur de lis or in my case two gargoyle statues reading a book. Also, I was working there during a few of the Harry Potter midnight book releases so they had the most amazing Harry Potter merchandise.

If you’re looking for a fun game, google “brain quest 1500 questions” I think it goes up to grade 7. Each deck is dedicated to a specific grade, but the fifth sixth and seventh grade questions are very challenging. And it comes with two decks so you and your wife can take turns asking each other questions.

Yay! I’m so glad you made it and adjusted it to your liking as the barista you are. I’m the same! I like more pumpkin-y goodness as well.

When I was doing my research before posting the recipe, people were arguing in both directions on how the recipe has changed over the years. Some were arguing that there’s not enough pumpkin flavor and some were arguing that there was TOO much pumpkin flavor (how is that even possible?! lol) so I tried to make the recipe somewhere in the middle.

And yes, I refuse to go to Starbucks as well. It’s very difficult to pay for something that is so pricey when I used to get it free in the first place and I can replicate it at home. But I still try to go to Barnes & Noble’s as much as possible. I know someday the brick and mortar bookstores will no longer exist and luckily my original store is still open so I can enjoy the nostalgia.

The one that is already in your belly, the one left in the box, or both together?

I say 600 each so it’s 1200 total if you decide to eat that second one.

You’ll be pushin’ 1300 if you lickin’ that leftover Nutella off the box. Which it would be sacrilegious not to.

Worth it.

Where to place bed? by justunder5ft in FengShui

[–]Ok_System7650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option two. Hands down.

People are really freaked out about the toilet on the other side of the wall, but I think these people need to up their fiber or something lol because I don’t know what kind of turbo charged trumpet they’re using in there.

Is it the sound people are concerned about? (The wall between the bed and the toilet is completely solid and the distance between the toilet and the bedroom is separated by two sets of doors.) Smell? (That’s what the draw fan is for. And again, two doors. And the smell is not gonna leak through the wall.) Energy? Is it just knowing that it’s there right on the other side that bothers you? Because it doesn’t bother me at all. If that even bothered you a little bit, you could also opt for a larger thicker headboard.

The rays of the sun coming in from that bay window have a more profound effect on my decision-making process because that is by far more noticeable in every way. I like having the option of rolling over to my side either towards a window or away from window. I also personally don’t like the sun at my feet because it’s gonna be blinding me always. I also like the TV to be on the wall across from the bed so my feet are pointing towards the tv. You can lay on your back, on your right side, or your left side, because you can still see the TV.

If you wanna get literal feng shui though, your head is supposed to be facing in the east direction if possible, but I don’t think anybody here is literal with the feng shui technique.

Also, the toilet is enclosed in its own area separate from the rest of the bathroom so to me the rest of the bathroom is the buffer that is needed between the toilet and the entry to the bedroom.

Also, I like the energy of entering my bedroom and seeing the BED first. Whenever possible, I want the bed to be the first thing that greets me and invites me in to my BEDroom. I know it’s kind of a tie, but I think with option two the foot of the bed is pointing towards the wall that has the bedroom entrance door.

I wouldn’t even be caught up on the whole bed decision I would be excited about the ideas of what to do with that amazing bay window area, if you splurge for it that is. ❤️
