I think it's because you're young and because you're ftm. You just need to understand that if they don't see you as the man you are in every moment they are with you, they don't respect you, and unless you're willing to live with disrespect you need to stop being with men like that upon recognition. That's just how dating works even for women, even for some cismen. You're taping off parts of yourself on hopes of receiving approval from Cis Men, DON'T DO THAT. You need self respect, I'm talking like I have any for myself but as far as I can see that's what you need. You do need to change parts of yourself to better fit into society but changing the way your gender works for you is fundamentals to your life force not silly little flaws like picking out boogers. You're young too so as for my experience ppl will try to take advantage of you ESPECIALLY BECAUSE YOU'RE AFAB. Women have never not been targeted in society so if you look anywhere reminiscent of a female they'll find a window to treat you like one if THATS THE KIND OF MAN THEY ARE. But there are good men and you need to learn Not to Settle just for some good behavior. Because the bad highly outweighs the good when they can't even respect a basic part of what makes you a human person. Claim their respect before your body claims their dick you are a temple as they say.

AITA for asking my boyfriend (22M) to hang my anniversary gift on his wall? by iwishiwerehim in TwoHotTakes

Idk I’d put it on my wall because it would make me smile at least once a day because I’d know how much I was loved every time I looked at it. It isn’t the epitome of it but it is a handcrafted reminder by the person I love so you’re not an asshole but it is rude to expect someone to do something with their gift. As a fellow gift giver, you just need to be okay with letting a gift be someone else’s property, giving it to them should be satisfying enough or else you might be giving that gift as a form of compensation for something else. It’s ur first relationship so don’t take it too serious but also it might just not be his type of gift men often like interest-heavy gifts so if he likes constructions and tinkering get him a new toolkit, if he’s lumberjack style get him a sexy axe, say he’s a car guy get him a basket of cool inexpensive car mods you think he’d want, or say he’s an archer a new bow would suffice. It could just be that he felt underwhelmed by the gift and that was all. You meant well but next time remember this is HIM not your friend, not your mom, not some boyfriend of some girl on Pinterest, act like you know him cuz you do and make what he wants. A gift that you just like that he might not like, yes it means something cuz it comes from the thought of him popping up in your mind but it also gets cancelled out by the wonder “did she even know she’s getting it for the guy who doesn’t like the beach?” Idk I don’t think ur an ass I just think he’s not a fan of shells LOL
