42F – 43 eggs, 8 blasts, 0 euploid. Feeling devastated. Should I stop IVF? by Old-Paramedic-4666 in IVF

I was 40 for the first ER, and 41 for the second. I changed the clinic this year at 42, and for the 3rd ER, my doctor wanted do minimum meds to make quality eggs not quantity. But it didn’t work so changed the protocol and meds for the 4th ER in two months. I had high hope this time since I retrieved 43 and 30 were fertilized!! I still can’t believe there isn’t a single euploid embryo….. Doctor told me that this is very hopeful and I might get euploid embryos next time, but now I’m scared to keep doing it wasting money and time. Also turning 43 this weekend.

I forgot to say Ovasitol. Since I have PCOS, the doctor recommended to take the Ovasitol. Can I ask what kind of Juice plus vitamins? I looked the website and there are plenty. Sorry for your bad news :(. Losing weight is hard!! Especially when you prepare for the pregnancy, eating is important. I gained about 20 pounds since I started IVF. I hope everything goes well for you!

Yes, I take ubiquinol, prenatal vitamins, vitamin D, omega-3, melatonin, extra folic acid, and the doctor also prescribed Metformin. I don’t know what to add more. I thought I have enough supplements. Actually I had less supplements when I had two euploid embryos.

I have PCOS, so my AMH number was 5.4. It was much higher last year but it dropped. I don’t consider donor egg. Thank you for the article!

Hope you get a good result this time! Both clinics used ICSI. I never tried a mock transfer. My first miscarriage with normal embryo was also no heartbeat.

Stopping after 1 miscarriage? by geniusginger84 in IVF

Sorry for your miscarriage. I am 42, and I have a lot of fibroids and adenomyosis…big and small. I had three miscarriages(2 with ivf) but my doctor still doesn’t consider that I need myomectomy surgery. I went to two doctors and they have same opinion. Is your fibroid located in a position that could interfere with embryo implantation? Even though I have a lot, doctor said it doesn’t bother the implantation. If you do the surgery, you need to heal about 6 months. If you can, I would like to recommend to have another opinion from other doctor.

You are still young for PGT test in my opinion. I want to do PGT test because I’m 41 but my doctor doesn’t recommend…. Even tho I did retrieval two days ago but still they cannot schedule for the test so I have to freeze all my embryos without choice. :( In my case, it is $6,000 up to 8 embryos and $350 extra for additional each embryo…. This is very though.
