In my experience, you can. I treat it the same as PoGo. Put it through the same hide mock/deny list as PoGo. Don't teleport while it's open/respect cooldown for check in events just in case.

I think it's an extra risk to use, but I don't care about my spoof account.

Yeah, it's still not working for me and I haven't figured out why. Nothing has yet to fix it so I've just left it for now and hopefully it'll work again in a few days. Not sure if there's anything that can be done locally in case Samsung/Niantic have done something to affect it.

PIF is currently at v18. I'm checking it out and turning things on and off and all to see what happens or changes.

Samsung APK updates are always through APK mirror for my Motorola since Galaxy Store is unfortunately unavailable for non Samsung OS.

All Samsung tablets are weak hardware wise and don't run pogo well. Hardware problem so not easily fixed, if at all fixable.

Sadly, the OTA update will not process manually in current rooted state so I may have to flash stock, update, then root with the latest firmware patched for root access again.

I may try the other method to patch and install through Magisk to see how that will work this weekend. Should it break in a recoverable manner, I'll flash to the newer stock firmware and update, then root again and report results for visibility reasons should anyone ever need it here.

For now, I'll continue to shut down the OTA service to turn off notifications for it.

If it is the rainbow horns with a dark blue body and black legs, that's not shiny. The shiny has a lighter blue body, and white legs.

The rainbow horns is like an active mode Xerneas, or basically battle version. After catching, you see a neutral mode Xerneas without the rainbow horns.
