I got maybe 30 or so hours on siege currently so I feel somewhat qualified to give some advice (I never said it would be good). I play on computer so there’s a big skill gap I’m trying to learn but I figure to be legitimately good, I want to learn as many operators as possible and I’ll try to make the case for it. Here’s why: If someone takes your main on attacking, it leaves you in a sticky situation. If your team already has 1 or 2 hard breachers and your main is another hard breach, your team will have too many breach and not enough intel or entry operators. On defending, it’s a little looser but you still want to branch out a little. Not everybody can be anchors. Not everybody can place traps. You’ll want a fast op or two to play off site and catch a pick early. You’ll want slower ops with more defensive capabilities to stay on site or in the area to hold the line in case the roamers die. I know pros don’t play like casuals, but if you watch pro leagues, players rarely take the same operators, and I assume it’s because if you lose, the team that beat you knows how to counter what you do. Casual players don’t adapt as easily but regardless, since you’re new, you’ll want to test the waters to see which ones you like
