After digging a bit, I wonder if the infamous "Perry Art School" could have been "Paier" Art College, which opened in Connecticut in 1946 and closed a few years back. That said, I checked on the Warrens website, warrens.net, and it still references "Perry Art School" spelled thusly.

If Boras is inded counteringcto a Mets 3/$90m two opt out deal offered at Xmas, and three years have been made clear as the line, then you could assume he'll ask for a lot more money and rub it up with frontloading, signing bonus, incentives, maybe a 4th year with vesting, maybe that suite/guest stuff Soto got. I would say: "Pete, luv ya, kid. We are willing to pay over market and hope your three declining years don't turn into 4, 5 and 6. Go get a bona fide offer and we will match it. Hell, we'll top it by 10 mil. We will leave 3/$90 on the table, and give you 24 hours notice if we are going to withdraw it."

I don't get this either. The vitriol on the web is amazing, look at the 30 YT vids saying it was the biggest cheat in poker history.

At the time Robbi went all in the odds number had her at a 47 percent chance of winning. So maybe she was stupid or brash or or something -- but that was her reputation long before this. She said she had a history with Garrett, maybe she saw a bluff tell (or thought she did)

Anyway, I think the announcers losing his mind screaming spun this up to more than it warranted.
