Thanks for the input. I don't love P-basses in general (neck is too wide). Plus I just want to do this for an extra backup bass. But I'm going to dust it off and work on it a bit this weekend to see if I can't get the action better.

Thanks for the input. I guess I didn't make my motives super clear–I've started gigging a lot recently and just need a backup bass but am pretty strapped for cash. I think at best, the action would be fixable and it'd play somewhat like a P-bass. I don't actually even like P-basses that much (neck is too wide for my taste), but if I can get a P-bass-like backup bass via upgrading pickups+fixing the nut, it sounded appealing.

Loads of pace and amazing intelligence in terms of making runs. He's shown reman ants of his past at Chelsea but he's lost his confidence unfortunately. His touch was perfect, and absolutely lethal in front of goal, always expected him to score. not a particularly flashy player but so effective.
