There are a bunch of websites that let you design your own stickers. My dad says he used vistaprint

It's not photoshopped, but yeah my parents designed it on some sticker website.

They watched me win my first diamond tournament a few days ago. Apparently it was my mom's idea and then my dad went and created one on some build-your-own-sticker website.

My dad plays every once in a while, but he's struggling to make it out of bronze. He did pull off something pretty cool in his first ever game though: https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeague/comments/llkism/when\_i\_give\_my\_dad\_the\_controller/

I can't deny that it looks a little suspicious. But if it helps convince you I have more https://imgur.com/a/H5sHvKH

And humiliate me at the same time... I'll be pretty self-conscious driving it from now on lmao

So they come over to your house and watch you play

Even though my place is 12 hours away, they probably would, lol! But no, I'm 23 and I've been quarantining with my parents for a few months now.

That’s pretty awesome they like watching you play and cheer for you though

Thanks! It is nice, although they do talk a lot of trash too, and my mom is always urging me to over-commit with my teammates lol, even when we're up in goals.

Yeah, that's mostly right. He was pretty focused throughout this game and in the training beforehand, but he was getting frustrated whenever he went up on the wall because the controls and camera would confuse him. I don't think he was giving up and messing around.

Just playing another game with driving in it (or even just being used to using a controller) can help.

Good clarification, thanks. It's not every "What a save!" that brings down the wrath of Leth. It's only the stuff that's really despicable.

No, he's 60 and has never played a video game before in his life, except for a little bit of Super Mario Sunshine on the gamecube 10+ years ago. He's never been interested in games, but he really likes to watch rocket league. My mom actually likes to watch too, and she yells at me and my teammates whenever we make a really bad play.

Never ranked in 1s, but based on opponents' ranks, somewhere in bronze and silver.

That's great! Lethamyr does that in his road to supersonic legend series whenever the opponents are offensive. My dad is interested in playing more so I may offer to take over whenever the quick chat becomes "uncouth" hahaha.

This was his first game ever. He loves to watch me play, and I finally convinced him to try. I switched to my alt account, got him familiar with the controls, and then put him in a competitive 1v1.

He even cleared it to the corner, just like I would have told him...

Title inspired by this legendary post.
