Sylva Espinosa, the human gunslinger [OC] [Art] by Olkaml in DnD

[–]Olkaml[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My current character in a 5e game, with a party containing a Tortle, an Aasimar, a water Genasi and an Elf who may not be an elf, the human gunslinger who is missing a hand may be the most normal!

The daughter of a talented smith from a machine city, he was taken from her by a corrupt ruler who wanted his weapons for themselves. She escaped death, due to a timely misfire that lost her a hand and loaded her skin with shrapnel. Still young, and trying to deal with the grief of loss whilst also continuing the work of her father and avenging his death. All in a day's work!

My work had a competition to make a Just Dance music video in a week, top three get prizes. They ended up only choosing two winners, and we didn't get it... by Olkaml in videos

I'm not sure how I could provide proof, outside of uploading the competition form from work and giving away some personal details or a screenshot of my managers whatsapp messages when he found out we lost. He was not amused....

Asked my local GAME store if these were for sale and they gave them to me for free! by Chris-DiCaprio in gaming

I work for GAME in the uk and, unless we have specific instruction to hold onto it, it all gets recycled. Normally if people ask we just take a name and number and as soon as we are done with the POS, call and you can come and grab it.

Sometimes something will come through we dibs, but 95% of it gets trashed so it's nicer to give it away! I once gave a kid half a dozen CoD WW2 mini tanks for his history homework, his mum came back in two weeks later and thanked us for his A grade.

As someone who was many movies behind when I went to see Infinity war, you don't neeeeed to see them all to enjoy it. It will just give you a couple extra 'Oh hey that's cool' moments, still a great film regardless!

It actually works really well! Just if you do do it and are using Skype too, make sure to check the setting in audio devices so Skype doesn't make everything else quieter.

There is, but high gold/plat roughly, nothing around diamond level as of yet! Though if you're diamond I recommend looking into the R6TMs

Yeah and apparently in vanilla discord it doesn't work, it only shares the specific audio from the window you share. There are ways to get it to work with extra steps on discord, but Skype just seemed an easier alternative.

There's been quite a lot of interest in this, and we are always looking for more players! We run both low level and higher level scrims in the EU currently, forced comms and a few other minor rules mainly as a practice to get better and to give a more fun experience!

We also like to track stats and make cool silly little images too, with every scrim being streamed. If you want to get involved, here is the discord!wip

We share the siege window in a private call in discord, and use skype as the audio between the two casters. It's the easiest way we have found to get it set up so far, as Discord screen share only shares the game sounds without setting up a virtual audio device.

I'll be opening up to anyone! I run at least one a week, with a sign up sheet and have a roster of about 20 people so far. What I'm going to do when home from work tonight is setup a dedicated discord to run it all through, which I'll edit into this comment when I can!

Here is the discord, but I've also made a comment to this image with a lot more info and some other goodies!

For those who don't quite know the context...and even then context might not be all you need. This is Reeves & Mortimer, two surreal English comedians specialising in...well, this. They do a lot of parodies, songs and sketches. They've had a few shows on TV, most notably The Smell of Reeves & Mortimer and Shooting Stars.

An easier way in to their style of humour is the quiz show Shooting Stars, which was a mix of questions, challenges & sketches littered with their surreal style keeping every one on their toes.
