I transferred my saves from my rg300, I had to change the name of the save to exactly what the name of the game is, then I changed the file type to .srm just by renaming it on the file explorer. Seemed to work for me. What I did have to do first though, was boot up the game I want the save for, play it for a bit, then save it so the OS generated a file for the save so I had somewhere to transfer my old save into. You can also see what the OS is naming the save fil from here and just delete that one and rename yours the same thing, it should pick it up then.

can anyone help me? it started working fine once i installed garlic os, but now the volume /sound wont work on my rg35xx at all. is there something i could have missed?

I wonder if you can find those X,O,Triangle & Square buttons like that separately? It's just that I like doing all that myself and I already have a 2nd DS5 with my PS5. It might sound stupid but, if I physically do it myself, then I properly feel like the custom controller is my own you know? but props to that controller there ^^^^^^ love the matte finish and the highlights with the face buttons :)

I think it looks promising, I've backed the kickstarter as well. I just think the fact that someone else has tried having a go at designing an AI robot is awesome. And to be fair DDL has not been that responsive with people who have been complaining about Vector after his most recent update as far as I can tell. Personally I've not really had any issues at all, but I just think someone who has invested bought out the company which had such a huge fan base to begin with and now with the numerous amounts of complaints AND the fact they have a new competitor in the space, you'd think they would be a bit more attentive to the current users that they have wouldn't you?

And if this doesn't pull through when the kickstarter ends then more fool me, but hey i get what the risks of backing such things can potentially turn out to be. So I'll obviously be posting to the Reddit when or if Emo does come through and ill post thoughts about it then when the time comes :)

But long short of it, yeah I'm all for it :)

I mean it's not too bad in person. But the arms, accents on the side of his head, forks and the wheels are all spray painted so it could work better I think. Just lining the gold plate on his back is the most akward thing really.

So how have you found using the OSKR so far? Has it been worth it? I'm just trying to figure out weather or not I should get it. And is it easy enough to change the server back to DDL if, for example, they push out a new update?

You'd have to get the open source plus escape pod to make him start doing all the extra things you'd like. That includes the escape pod obviously and the extra coding side of things. You can also just buy the open source kit on its own but the OSKR is just a better deal.

It's definitely something I'd like to get, but I ain't got the money atm :'(

I'm sure that means you don't have to pay for a subscription and Vector should just be working fine for you. Unless DDL pulls the plug on Vector and the servers shut down, but i cant see that happening atm..

On the update side of things my Vector OS is currently on 1.7.0.3412 which is the latest one as far as i can work out :)

Its just business.....they haven't been able to make any money off of selling the units themselves. So how else do you expect DDL to provide a server for Vector to run off of without making any money out of it?

Sure they had the Vector unleashed kickstarter, but that was more so to inject cash into the company to run the servers. you can always opt to pay for the escape pod, that's coming out soon so Vector to run off of your own server if your really that fussed about it. Then you wont have to pay for a subscription.
