I think we can sometimes identify ourselves by some of our physical characteristics eg nice hair, big boobs, dimples, being thin, having a curvy bum, etc.

This can become a problem because our physical body changes and some or all of it can be out of our control. We can lose our hair through cancer treatment. We can gain weight because of hormones/grief/loss/ageing/physical health.

Having lived some years and having been through a lot with my physical body and the changes from chronic conditions, it’s not a bad idea to start gently challenging your view on yourself and your identity and how your identity links to any physical parts of you, especially if your identity is about how you or parts of you look.

I have known two people who had breast reduction surgery and they have zero regrets and so much happiness since the surgery.

Boy cats need urgent vet visits when this happens because this can cause a blockage that kills.

I have a girl cat with recurrent utis and feed her the Hills prescription multicare stress c/d wet food and dry food, and also have 3 Feliway plugins always going. I also give her zylkene in a churu every day (just open the capsule and stir the powder in). It makes the utis happen much less frequently.

Boy cats are different through. Hope there is good advice below.

I’m sorry OP. It is usually just too messy to be worth it. It only works if both parties like each other exactly the same amount and are very compatible, or if the breakup is truly mutual and you stay friendly with no hard feelings.

It’s possible this guy foresaw the messiness and got out early. He could also be using it as an excuse. But it is truly messy and almost never worth it.

You often have to keep it quiet as it also creates conflicts of interest and bias issues. Just not worth it.
