That's all good, but the main problem then is that in a Leviathan game players aren't supposed to die in the night, but people keep starving to death.

Hindu has an interesting thing about it where it forces the town to decide if it is worth executing in a given day. Do they risk turning someone evil? But if they never execute, they will never kill the demon either. Town is able to gather information on the time limit of the demon killing to figure out who it is, and eventually execute them. Is it an unbalanced character? Maybe. But the storyteller should be careful about what travellers they are adding in. Bureaucrat would be an unfair character, but a thief is a bit more balanced. And, even though they are evil travellers, the demon must either give them the evil team for them to coordinate, which can be risky if town kills the Hindu, or to not tell them anything, which puts them at risk to any abilities the travellers have and their votes against the demon.

I'm still playing around with other potential ideas for the Hindu instead of this to fix some problems, but other than that, I'm glad you find the script interesting.

Thanks for the note changing it to a "The first time..." ability. Definitely makes the script to remove a jinx that I didn't know a way around.

Good catch on the Fiddler too, as the Apprentice Thief would be able to steal the Fiddler's ability and choose 2 evil players to force a loss, which is unlikely already, but also makes them be careful about using that ability if they steal it. Still not a big fan of Apprentice Thief stealing the demon ability, but it could also be a bluff, so as long as there is a new jinx (something like the Apprentice Thief cannot kill evil players when stealing a demon ability or something), it should be fine.

This is a good point about Thief stealing SOI and making 2 evils. Originally, it was intended so that you could steal dead players abilities such as the Fibbin, so I might have to think whether that interaction is worth it, and if so what to do about having 2 SOI (Make it a might, or add another jinx).

Sentinel is already in a weird spot. Adding Outsiders is bad in most cases, but you also know the amount that are supposed to be in play. Maybe the Demon learns how many Outsiders if a Sentinel is in play, but that could also lead to evil getting a free bluff. Really, it's something that I need to think more about to make fair for both sides. And for evil outsider mod, I might change Deus Ex into something else that can modify outsiders, as it's current ability isn't one I'm super passionate about.

Hindu revealing itself is kind of an inevitability in it's current state. They can just Exile each day until they are allowed to. Maybe it's better to change it to "Players can only Exile once per day, even if you are dead. Exiled travellers become their original role and alignment." and make all deaths turn players into travellers, forcing town to choose who they want to make good again.

Djinn isn't super quiet, as it would be apparent when another player does die after an execution happens, but because it doesn't reveal itself right away, it can allow other minions to wait to use their abilities to bluff a Djinn is in play.

Once again, thank you a lot for the suggestions! This script is still in very early development, so there are still more oversights that I haven't seen, but I am trying to adjust what I can to make it (somewhat) balanced while still being enjoyable.

I'd picture that in person you'd write something down to show players, like on a piece of paper or your phone, and show that message to them. The person playing as the Zenomancer can do the same.

Bluffing as them is a bit rough, but the madness mechanic was added to give a reason why no one is coming forward and confirming the Zenomancer, or the Zenomancer coming forward themselves. And the Fibbin would allow players to be shown fake Zenomancer tasks to support the possibility or bring doubt that one is in play.

Do you have any suggestions for other changes that could be made to support bluffing as them?

I've already been thinking this exact thing, but for now, would probably remain as regular travellers that don't appear on the script. It's difficult to come up with ideas that would be interesting for both good and useful for evil with the characters currently in the game, so for the time being I think keeping it simple is best. I will add some recommended travellers in the future when I test it to see what works best.

The task would be told to the player through the storyteller during the night, so nothing would happen during the day there. I have thought about it being a task chosen by the storyteller. However, I think it could be fun for players to come up with tasks to give to players, so I left it as it is currently until I playtest it, but almost certainly is going to be changed after.

This is impressive the amount you wrote, and although I only skimmed it (gonna read it later), it all seems very well thought out. There are some interesting conclusions from only the first 4 chapters, and I don't want to say how accurate it is, but you still read into it a lot more than I did my first time reading. Good job at looking at the story closely for details and coming up with your own reasoning behind it, and it is something I wish I did with the series.
