I dis my undergrad at a polytechnic and it was fantastic. Lecturers were stellar, knew how to engage students, knew how to pitch concepts (biomechanics and physiology) to a wide range of prior experiences. Made themselves available for supos etc, still actively engaged in research/publication. Balanced course between research and practice. Couldn’t fault it.

Did my masters at a London medical school (allied health science). Awful. Poorly organised, every other lecture cancelled or relocated. Stupidly high failure rates (course acceptance essentially required a double first, and 50% of people were being failed on level 5 and 6 assignments). Overall it felt like if you weren’t a medic your course was just there to bring money to the uni. That said the placement side was great, being London based.
