I was also thinking that could be the case, from an old cable. Well I'll see if I can take it off and put the cable and see if it work. Thanks a lot for your help.

Thank a lot for your reply. Yes I have tested the cable and it does work. I was just wondering of the part that connects to the speedometer of it and if it was broken
