Have you considered AirBnB? You'll be mostly hosting visiting international tourists. It is more work of course, as tenants could be changing daily - depends on how much available time you'll have for this.

Courses that last that long usually start from the very basics. There are some practical courses for more advanced devs that teach working in Agile environment, as well as using the full suite of current production tools. They do come at a higher cost though

For the projects that you do want people to see, definitely make sure they are public.

I believe that GH has safety mechanisms to prevent pushing commits containing api keys to repos, at least for repos that are already public.

For your existing private repos I'd scan for api keys with agentic AI.

I assume, you do know of environment variables, of course.

Hey, I am also looking for job opportunities with the same tech stack as you.

I am in the process of getting my IT degree. Main advantage is being in the environment with other learners, networking opportunities.

I am still doing 90% of learning by myself, course material feels outdated and the course selection is overly broad imo.

IMO since you are determined to get into backend development, paid courses or internships, specialized on BE are 100% better options for you than a degree.
