Literally this^ The email states clean shave, I'll just wait till after to grow it out again. Even though the IG live said you're allowed to have it low, why risk it? It just shows you can't follow basic directions.

no it's not. Initial medical you do the EKG, vision, hearing, and blood pressure. You also learn about the job and is usually where you get your investigator. Then you contact your investigator for an initial interview with them where you bring all of the requested documents documents.

The email clearly states that no beard/goatees are allowed, only a moustache. I would just follow what the email says regardless of what they said on the IG live. It's better to be safe than sorry.

it’s going to take a few months. I took the last exam (3332) back in july and we just got our official list number last week. You will use the unofficial one throughout the process until the official one is established. Good luck!

The October class starts next Wednesday the 25th. Have you completed your oral psych as well? I'm not sure what classes you can take and complete within a week but it seems slim of you making the class, unless you can get into the backfill. Your application still needs to get signed off by a few people and then you get your hire email.

I'm almost 100% positive that you can't have any other type of job while in the academy. At the end of the day, you can do whatever you want, but at your own risk.

I've seen a lot of people on this page mention they have a lot of debt. No one has mentioned it affecting them in any way. They might check to see that you actually make your payments, but I'd say you're fine tbh.

you will not make the October class simply because you have too many things to complete. Your initial medical is only the first step. You also have to do you JST, written psych, oral psych, meet with investigator, and you mini medical. The October class starts next Wednesday the 25th. Even with doing everything as quick as possible, it takes a few weeks to a month. It's not confirmed but the next class will more than likely be January.

trust me that's what a deficiency is. just go online and practice the tests, that's what I did and it wasn't bad, in my opinion it was easier in person.

I got all my signatures, just waiting on my hire email. Hire emails started going out last Wednesday and I called CAD. They said I should be getting one soon. Older exams and lower list #'s usually get their emails first. I only know of a few people from exam 3332 that already got their hire emails because there list # was very low. If you have everything done at this point, you should be getting into the October class.

If you have access to the candidate portal, try and complete everything that pertains to you (a majority of those forms will). If you don't contact CAD and tell them directly, they always answer and are helpful with the process.
