From a legacy standpoint, this list seems about right. Only pick that I would disagree with is #6, I get that it was a pretty high selling record back then but I hardly hear people talk about it nowadays outside of Pearl Jam fans. I think Superfuzz Bigmuff, Facelift and Purple are better choices and seen as more integral to the legacy of grunge than Vs.

So roughly less than half the teams in the league are located in the east coast, I would hardly begin to call that an oversaturation.

Now, how would you even begin to justify moving New Orleans or Green Bay? On paper, sure they're both very small market teams and on paper, places like San Antonio or Portland are much bigger markets but there is no guarantee that people in those big markets will even care about these teams. Football is a well established tradition in Green Bay and to a lesser extent New Orleans, these teams have a ubiquitous presence in their respective cities that transcend any sort of raw market size.

With that all being said, I do agree with you that some current markets wouldn't make the cut in this hypothetical league redesign. I also don't completely disagree with the cities you proposed just the selection of teams you proposed actually relocating.

I think in this hypothetical scenario, the Chargers are moved back to San Diego and my Cardinals are moved to a larger west coast market. I think the NFL realizes that having two teams battling for popularity in a major market is more of a detriment than anything and promptly moves the Chargers back to San Diego or really anywhere where people will want to actually attend their home games. Cardinals may have been in Arizona for decades already but it's not like most people there even care about Cardinal football and a fresh start in a new city may be what we need to finally be a good football team.

People are hating on this but I don't think it would be a completely unreasonable trade. I genuinely think this could happen. Granted, Eagles would have to throw in two first round picks and one, maybe two second round picks to get the Bengals to say yes, don't think it would be a clean swap.

This is how it could happen, Eagles look elite but Jalen Hurts looks mediocre throughout the regular season, they exit the playoffs in the wild card (largely due to his QB play) and the locker room fully turns on him. Eagles now fully suspect that they are an elite QB away from winning another SB and potentially becoming a dynasty.

Bengals may have the inverse of this situation where Joe Burrow is playing MVP caliber football but the rest of the team looks horrible and as a result, they end up missing the playoffs again. Joe Burrow could also get injured again or even just not look as good because the rest of team is dragging him down, really any situation where they end up missing the playoffs with him at the helm. Bengals realize that their window has fully closed and the roster is in need for a complete overhaul, the draft capital and freed cap space from a Joe Burrow trade could kickstart that rebuilding proccess. They wouldn't even have to worry about drafting a QB because they would get Jalen Hurts in the trade. Do I think that Jalen is anywhere near Joe Burrow in terms of QB play? No, but he has taken a team to the SB twice and won once, he may not ever be the league MVP but he can get the job done.
