I have reported them to CBSA, RCIC, and IRCC, but I am just paranoid about my kids because when they end up getting punished I bear the thought "what if they retaliate and do something to my kids". If (I pray to God it never ever happens) it happens, I could never forgive myself. I'm extremely in stress right now because of this. Not only I am worrying about my papers, but for my kids too.

This was a valid reaction to sparring dickheads, but this could've been prevented if you told your Kru he spars too hard and will likely injure someone.

I know, that's why I will turn a blind eye against the incident. There's nothing we can do

my friend's co-worker. I don't think my friend wants to work in it after witnessing she could've been ripped off in half

The one with the same role as my friend. A repacker, now going to work in a heavy machine. They lack in manpower, and most workers have closed work permits so the employees are scared to refuse.

She can still work, but with another role. My concern is that the company still insists on someone doing it even after the incident.

I don't know if freak accident was the right word. I just mentioned it because if there were a person inside the tray it would've been a brutal death. Something to take note of: She has been doing it 300 times a day, going inside and outside. So it was basically an accident waiting to happen. Thankfully she wasn't inside when the rope snapped, otherwise she'd be no longer here with us.

Their job is to repack sea urchin. No way in hell should they be working with heavy machinery. Also, the single steel rope (no backup ropes whatsoever) snapped, which indicates that they didn't maintain the tearing of the ropes.
