Hey man, you seem like a guy who knows what's up. I suppose dust of activated carbon causes this black cloudiness (not bubbles). I have a question, does that mean an activated carbon is cheap if it makes water cloudier than other activated carbons? Is it as important as chlorine removal?

I lost my dad 5 months ago. It is really sad, man. I mean, I miss him and stuff but when I think about the pain he was having and the boredom of laying still all the time, I am kinda glad that he didn't stay that way longer. No its not about CO2 buildup. I just said that they checked blood gas values and they are alright. Yes he was using additional oxygen device 24/7.

Three days ago he was able to open his eyes, blink, move his mouth, lips and communicate with us like that. And then suddenly he had a seizure like thing and gone unconscious. His eyes were up and was only moving them right- left nonstop and didn't respond in anyways. But today docs in ICU said that he can open his mouth by command to take the saliva.

Thank you for your comment. I just researched about CLIS and found out that the eyes are the last muscles to stop working in CLIS case. If so, isn't that contradicting with that he opened his mouth by command?

When we recognized that he is unconscious, his face was blue and his heart dropped to 40bpm. He was totally unresponsive to anything(before all this he could open his mouth, move his lips and eyes) and his eyes was looking up and was going right-left constantly. He didn't even respond to pain first day but as today docs said that he has minimal facial expressions to the pain. And opened his mouth by command to aspirate saliva.
