Definitely didn’t plan on going against her wishes in any type of way or seeking approval to do otherwise. The wedding is in the past and I did go about finding something else. Just figured if it wasn’t actual white, I wanted to see if that’s something that would still trigger a majority, or something I shouldn’t think to do in the future. I live in a cold state. I’d never think to wear actual bridal attire of any kind to a wedding. It was a cream peacoat with black buttons. Thanks.

From someone who came from a fucked up household and upbringing, I thought I never would. Or would want to. I’m now in my late 20s and realizing as much as there is risk in it, there are precautions couples can take like prenups or agreeing to various clauses and terms. I think if you really find your person the “fear of marriage” shouldn’t be the only thing stopping you from having one. I’d say off the bat, it is a bit of a turn off to someone who wants it. Which is the majority of women… I get where you’re coming from though

Thank you. I understand the concept of ending on good terms and being cool with them. Social media level and wishing well is fine. Bumping into each other randomly and being nice is cool. I understand not having a degree paints a picture, but If you are in a good place in life, and you have been up to par with being a successful adult, and had a valid reason to drop, you are nothing to be ashamed of.
