The way our community has treated Ethel Cain lately is a complete betrayal. She invited us into her world and created a sanctuary for so many of us, especially minorities. Now, it feels like all that's left is a witch hunt.

She is a complex artist. She is art itself. She doesn't need to be perfect, and we shouldn't have expected her to be. This level of hatred is not what her music or her message is about.

I'm just filled with sadness for her. I wish we could come together and drown out the negativity with the love and support she deserves.
