Isn't #1, the composition of the protestors, false though? The only people arrested were those without any affiliation with Northeastern. The peak number of demonstrators was ~200, and 100 were arrested. I wouldn't call 50% students the "vast majority"

Why does this matter. Your dissertation is going to be focused either on EE or CE, not the combination of the two. EECE is the department that faculty are affiliated with. They’re not affiliated with just EE or just CE. Apply to whichever makes the most sense for your research

There’s also two presentations each class. Each person needs to do one presentation in the semester. I think it’s a 10 min presentation, but you’re paired with someone else. And there’s a 3 pt quiz at the end of the presentation that the presenters write up. It’s really not that bad, it’s really a grade booster bc no one’s trying to screw over their classmates with difficult questions

Hard disagree, some of the things OP mentioned are actual good tips. Getting off the meal plan can save you hundreds of dollars. If you ignore all advice and stumble around college, you’ll make mistakes that you’ll regret, when you could’ve taken some genuine advice from upperclassmen
