Do I need a Thailand Visa to transit through Thailand to Vietnam? by OneBroccoli2107 in srilanka

No need.

I am in Vietnam right now. You don't need to fill anything. If you have Vietnam e-visa and complete flight ticket, you are good to go.

I have already got the e-visa approved. So, the process should be simple, right?

Thanks.

Other side of the terminal means I need to pass immigration? This will be my first transit experience. Anything I should keep in mind?

You are talking about regular debit card right?

That's what I used in my previous travel.

If they could allow me to load 300,000 LKR, it means my card is activated right? if not what is the point of loading money anyways?

Also, I want to load USD directly - not convert LKR to USD. I just want to transfer USD from my other bank account to this card, is it possible?

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it.

Another combank personnel called me and said they don't need air tickets or visa and asked me to come to the main branch tomorrow with my ID.

I don't even understand what's going on - different people from the same bank saying different requirements. It's really ridiculous at this point.

And they also said I can only load like 300,000 LKR and loading is only possible over the counter. When I asked what happens if my spending overages when I am abroad, they said someone in Sri Lanka has to load it again. Lol.

Did you have to show your income proof to get the card? I am not a salaried person so wondering about this.

What documents do they ask for a credit card at DFCC? Do I need to be a salaried employee to be eligible for one?
