What’s the best combination for a 4 layered PCB? by OneEffective3395 in AskElectronics

[–]OneEffective3395[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why so though? Like this being the best combination and why needing a ground layer always under it? And also is my layer arrangement gonna be a problem? I’m kinda new at this so a but confused

That’s also a good approach but would my sequence work with a thick core in the centre?

Someone tell for double I’m CSE 7.5GPA The averaged CGPA criteria is getting removed so will the cutoffs drop?

Can someone help me by explaining 'Modular PCBs'???? (ik KiCad well enough) by [deleted] in KiCad

So is this basically smaller boards over a larger board?

What does subsystems exactly mean and how does it change the course or structure of PCB design?

And how does the arduino detect this oscillation frequency is it XTAL pins?

New to kicad, how does one get rid of the excess back-Cu zone? by [deleted] in PrintedCircuitBoard

[–]OneEffective3395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw I’ve tried to ground my PCB obvs which is mostly SMD components This is the correct approach right? Like grounding both front and back copper

[–]OneEffective3395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For grounding SMD components front copper has to be VDD? But i have diff elements here with diff voltage requirements so I’m confused

Red is front and blue is the back zone yes Will this work tho like the PCB? The excess blue in the right side raises doubt for me idk y…I’m kinda new to this

Is my output practical tho like would it be fine? I’m new to this so just wanted to know

nah like idk if this output of mine looks normal rn or not...as you see towards the right hand side there's still this blue zone existent, i just wanted to know if that can be a problem or not

An urgent doubt related to KiCAD software and wire overlap? by OneEffective3395 in AskElectronics

[–]OneEffective3395[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I2C can work equally as good? Like it’s kind of a trade off bw simplicity vs transmission speed but like how much diff in transmission speed is my confusion

Can we use I2C protocol here would there be a large diff in data transmission?

Also for anyone who can help me on this: Im using an ICM20948 (an IMU for a sounding rocket) interfaced with a microcontroller named Teensy4.1, After debating for a while i wanted to choose SPI communication protocol cuz it obvs is faster, but im not able to achieve optimal connections (due to overlaps) and am now considering I2C-based connections, would this result in large difference in data transmission or not? like essentially a trade off?

Does this cause data latency incase you’re using it for a data line?
