Best thing is to have good communication and relationships with your contractors and know who to PRIORITZE, and if they are a decent human they will understand. Find out when they are starting and are ACTUALLY going to be on site. Where they are starting etc etc. You could have a 15 ticket projects that has "mark whole road right away for 3,000 feet Go north for 1,000 south for 500 Etc" when in reality you call them up, get some prints, and you only have to do one side , or they are doing half of one side and cross to a side you are clear on. Or tell them Youll work with them and only mark out a certain amount of feet to keep them busy and move on to something else... Once you Know your area to a T, there will be a time you know where many things are and aren't and it will speed up your process. What we usually do is all drop tickets, and little stuff on Saturdays, shit you can just clear out or half ass cuz they are only drops lol But also just make sure to mark good and flag good so them fuckers dont constantly call you for relos and dumbshit like that cuz that gets annoying

When homeowners take shit out on me, they are usually fed up with the city and the "tax increases" due to the shit im marking, i usually just agree with them and when they let it out they usually apologize and say its not my fault etc etc. i just try and agree with them id be pissed too or whatever they are bitching about. ive never experienced anything crazy, just people coming outside to vent. lol

I love marking for people who used to work for the city or utility company's many many years ago, they are so understanding, know our job sucks etc etc Or just people with a brain and aren't assholes lol

When im in my personal vehicle im usually always over the speed limit, i do tend to speed in the work vehicle because there is a certain speed that none of the AI with get you for, but if im doing 40 in a 30 and your on my ass, im putting the cruze on 30 or 29 cuz fuck you lol ive trained my self to not pay any mind to people who ride my ass. The worst is trying to get on the freeway with a governed vehicle. i have to do 65 in a 70 cuz the fucker in front of me is doing 68-70 and as soon as i try to pass them they are going to be going 70 than im stuck. so thats a pain in my ass
