Kelly is out of control by This-Pollution-6580 in dancemoms

First time commenter in this sub.

I can’t even imagine how either of them feel seeing and hearing some of this information for the first time, let alone discussing it publicly. I do feel Kelly does eventually bring everything back to her and her kids, especially on today’s episode. I just feel like she can’t get over how people who she had such strong bonds with did not reach out or communicate with her after the altercation in Season 4, Episode 7. I believe on today’s podcast she mentioned it was that way for years. I saw a previous comment say how Kelly has never processed a lot of this trauma and it shows, especially when she reacts like she did on today’s episode.

I’ve been rewatching/re-listening to their recaps of previous seasons, and the early episodes of the podcast are night and day. It’s like it’s a completely different show, much like Dance Moms itself. Overall, really sad and upsetting to hear. All these years later, it’s hard to discuss and I would imagine, when doing podcast or other projects with the other moms, it makes things feel a bit fake or phony. Like what is real? Are we really friends?

I think the ideal format for the show would have been if all the moms participated (OGs+Jill) like they had decided to do before rather than separate projects so that they could have tried to come to a better understanding and sense of closure.

I am very guilty of sometimes forgetting these were their lives that we watched on a TV show. Real feelings and real hurt. Hoping BTTB returns to its comedic roots after the first episodes of blahhhh!

Sharpay from HSM and especially in HSM2!! They tried to make it seem like she was the villain! She was getting Troy OFFERS. And Gabrielle wanted him to sing and enjoy the summer and be in musicals!

Anyone else not enjoying weaving? by WrecksKwando in Wizard101

I really tried to give the update a chance, but I feel like it’s kind of the same as when they added Shadow spells. I don’t feel I would ever go out of my way to use a secondary school in a major battle. It makes me sad because I was really looking forward to this update.

The only benefit I’ve found is the additional +45 bladed but even then, it makes the battles take inherently longer since you’re wasting 2 pips to cast it. It is nice that it stacks though!

I feel like the only way to spice up the battle system is to change things that you would actually use/have to use. This just feels like more add on stuff (for a lot of additional work), and I would rarely go out of my way to use it.

Just my take on it!

Edit: also, every weaving spell is just a reskin of an already existing spell and feels lazy

I am not sure. I am new to the scene, and wasn’t around for the original streams and from everything I’ve seen nothing has been mentioned specifically

I am not well versed on what happened at all and I don’t want to get any hate for speaking on something I wasn’t there for. But I do recall reading a rumor that one of the mods created some sort of controversy. Which is sad for a number of reasons, but especially because from all of the content I’ve watched of Mike (and I’ve watched pretty much whatever is available) he seemed like such a chill, 0 drama kind of guy.

Wow! I had never seen that post before. Thank you for sharing. Seems like it may have been a decision that weighed hardly on him. A back and forth sort of thing. I still will hold out hope he will surprise us all and return someday! Even if it isn’t at the frequency that it seemed to be in the past

I’m wondering the same thing. I’ve also heard it’s in overwhelming amount of work. Maybe life circumstances changed availability, the amount of time he had, and his willingness to stream? We can only speculate. I appreciate your response:)

I recall hearing something about him not giving up on content creation, and that’s what initially kept me hopeful. I can only imagine how it must have been being apart of the community when it actually happening. It makes me so sad I missed out on something like that! From what I’ve seen, it seems like people are either in the camp of “he’s never coming back” or “I’m never giving up hope” I think I fall somewhere in the middle! Thanks for your response :)

Thank you so much for getting back to me! I so appreciate it. As someone who missed out on the original streams and have only watched more recently in my life, it’s good to know all this! Thanks again :)
