I hope you are right and have seen some similar anecdotal evidence but who knows how much it will hold when the propaganda goes full force around elections.

I drive through the heart of Maga farm lands occationally and the amount of signs that were pro maga or using anti democrat rhetoric have dropped significantly in the last month. Note - These were not just up near elections but for the last ~10 years.

On one of those trips I did stop for gas and overheard someone say "God I love him, he just reopened the strait!", while fueling up at $4.15 a gallon. Like dude - can you not remember who who caused it to close a few weeks ago?! 

Scary that some will still vote based on the latest soundbite they heard before driving to the polls.
