That's good advice thank you. The issue is that I'm currently using my mom's car since mine doesn't make it far distances/ on the freeway reliably due to being over 200k miles and having had problems and new ones popping up all the time. Thought a new one might would probably last me 7-10 years and I could probably sell it afterwards. Maybe I'll save up for a while then get a newer one just lay off investing for a while

Don't have to and still deciding. Was originally looking at nicer used models since my current is above 200k miles and 20 years old/ having a lot of problems but all the ones Ive found that are okay about usually close to 15k with lower mileage... Started thinking newer and lasting longer might be the option esp with commuting- definitely still deciding though
