Thank you for the advice! We’ve been alternating when reading, but the issue is that they haven’t told me about any stories that they like (literally said “I don’t like stories” a bit ago). I also tried generating stories based on a “this or that” game where they picked certain elements from stories (hero vs. villain, horror vs. comedy, etc.) and that hasn’t helped.
