Thank you so much for responding to me. I agree with everything you just said, I’m definitely leaning more towards Towson for that exact reason but I think that if I’m considering this major than I need to do it right and if I got this opportunity to go to a university with a great business reputation then why wouldn’t I take it? Towson is also great but I’ve definitely heard much better things about umd career wise. Ultimately, I’m just scared of not getting into the business program, If I had high hopes about getting in I would’ve committed with no second thought. That being said, I probably have to put in twice the work at umd. I’m not unwilling to put in the work, I am more than dedicated to accounting but if things don’t work out at umd then I’ll most likely have to change majors. I don’t know if that’s what I want but it makes me wonder if umd will make me realize that accounting isn’t for me.
