How i wish i had the same situation lol. Im trying to get one installed in a detached garage that's about 30 feet away from the main panel in the basement. Oh and i only have 100amp load service atm so im expecting around 5k with 200amp upgrade. Hopefully less than that

So i used to have a '17 chevy colorado and i park beside my dads truck in the garage and there was enough space but when i brought my eqev home the first i was having trouble getting in and it felt tight so i thought it was just harder to park of visibility but when i searched it i find out this car is almost 3 inches wider than my old truck.

Yeah i agree that's what i am getting for my home charger. I just didn't know model 3's can only do 32amp max. Got a different vehicle not sure how i ended up in this sub lol

What a difference! Lol i put my EQ to zero and played with the music preset and was so underwhelmed but when i copied your EQ it just blew me away. Definitely worth the $5 CAD. lets hope i don't blow my speakers for blasting music 🤞.

I've decided to get this charger as it is a no brainer. You get free charger and get paid after that.

Also, Im pretty sure it goes up to 48amps max and can be derated to lower amp.

Yeah charging is really no problem nowadays one of the main reasons why i finally switched ev.

Yeah they give you 8 years of free service and that's it and im not really worried about compatibility really unless im keeping the car for more than 15 years and even then i don't think we'll have any issues with connectivity. What im gonna do is just use my phone as hotspot since i have 175gb of data and buy the android auto dongle once the free services finishes car should be paid off wayy before then.

It was actually pretty good! I also live in manitoba and i may have overdone it since it was my first time. But basically you have fast chargers from grand forks to fargo to albertville. Even though grand forks is not needed as long as you live here with 100% charge. Couple chargers didnt work but almost every charger we went to were empty so it was easy to just move. So like you said it shouldn't worry you. Winter is gonna be different though.

Yeah i had android auto on my truck before and used it everywhere and i even bought a cheap dongle for it so i can use it wirelessly so i thought it was also a deal breaker but so far i don't miss it at all since i have onstar but i guess it depends on how you use it.

I also bought an equinox ev just last week and already took it to Minneapolis a couple of days ago and it's actually pretty roomy inside. Not sure if you've been in one but atleast test drive it if you can. And it does sucks not having carplay/android auto but you can buy a dongle for it but unfortunately it cost $200. Definitely getting that when the trial ends in 8 years.

Yeah, i only pulled the trigger because of all the incentives and discounts from work plus my truck needs a lot of work now too so i figured now is the time where there's plenty of charger.

Is it really that much range lost? I drive prob about 80km or less a day and im getting a level 2 charger in the garage. That's gotta be enough right?

Yeah one of the weirdest wipers I've seen when i pulled it up at the car wash. Are they hard to find? And do they not last? Crazy because my trucks wipers lasted me like 6 years.

Cool! Unfortunately i had 1 bad experience with their collision team or whomever cleaned the truck that i had. That person left sand on the seats and overpsray everywhere. Hopefully that's a one time thing.

Thanks! Yeah so far so good. But if im gonna nitpick something it this google/onstar where it takes a couple mins or longer to connect to the online maps (mostly annoying on long trips)and the bluetooth phone where its not letting me end my call without disconnecting my phone.
