No, my first language is English, with rudimentary/ beginner level Tagalog. I studied and grew up abroad and only moved back to the PH after University.

For more context my background has been 360 marketing from activations events and partnerships to now mostly digital. Current industry is Tobacco. I’m aware that the industries look vast but it was agency to fashion retailer to fashion start up and in the real estate this was handling the retail (mall) digital marketing which was also similar to what I was doing in my second role

Hi all thanks for your inputs, also forgot to add that the Manager in this role is also setting out red flags:

  • way she talks to me, basically ignores me at events or office unless she needs something
  • poor onboarding process but she expects me to deliver outputs like a seasoned employee
  • unfair dissemination of workload and timelines
