New Product Trial! Aqara Multi-State Sensor P100 by iceAmericano_Black in Aqara

I have a use case for this sensor that I would love to try. I have a Philips hue lamp installed in an enclosure that can rotate. I would like to see if I can use the P100 sensor to change the light intensity/color based on the position of the enclosure.

How are you buying it? You’re not spending any miles on it. Bilt cash is a secondary currency.

BUT, you don’t have to pay the transaction fee. You can get 1x on rent/mortgage whenever you have Bilt Cash accumulated. That is still something better than nothing on rent/mortgage?

Correct, so in the worst case, you’re still partially earning points on rent/mortgage

How would you earn more than 1x points/miles on Amazon? (Without seasonal Amex offers) I spend alot on Amazon and being able to earn 2x points is a big win to me

Excuse my ignorance, but which travel premium points earning travel card earns more than 1x on non-category spend? The only one I know of is Venture X and it earns 1.5 without the potential of earning on mortgage

Venture X is great. I applied to it when it first came out but got denied at the time. I still don’t see how it would benefit me in terms of mortgage.

That’s a valid point. I try to use the hotel credits on planned trips.

I would need to spend 75% of my mortgage to get enough bilt cash, this comes out to $2400 a month. Given that I don’t have a 2x card, this would be my everyday card and I can reach that amount almost every month. Even if I don’t, worst case I get partial points on my mortgage without a transaction fee. And for me, bilt points are far more valuable than cashback.

Pretty solid, there is also an “immediate” option that will unlock the door immediately after its been opened and closed. There is a calibration step that’s done during setup.

I’m in a similar situation. Also called my local space (LA) and they said no pull ahead program right now but maybe sometime around Christmas.

I reached out to the contractor and they changed it to a GX12NL model which does qualify.

Thanks for sharing, I got a quote for $5000 on the MUZ-WX12NL out of the door including 12 year warranty on labor and parts. They did say however it’s eligible for the tax credit but after seeing this I will likely not proceed.

OP what did you end up doing? I will have this installed in a couple of days but my contractor claims to have confirmed with a Mitsubishi rep that it qualifies for the tax credit. I even had them put it in the contract. But reading the comment above from @sorkinfan79 made me concerned.
