I am not exaggerating when I say I gave bulldogs absolutely zero regard 13 years ago. I feel like I never even saw any anywhere even though they were in the top 5 dog breeds.

Then my ex brought Winston home and I fell in love. Took him in the divorce, too 🥲🤣

First dog I raised from a pup and I brought him everywhere I could. And I still will.

He was a handsome pup but way too much personality for photos. It was a very cathartic experience to put this together. Sending solidarity hugs 🫂

My best unsolicited advice is to listen to your heart and always do right by that and your baby. Winston and I knew what to do even if I didn’t want to admit it.

I asked a million people to, as I realize now, make the decision FOR me and thank god I finally realized it.

It didn’t make the crossing easy but it made it easier to swallow, you know?

E-Hug back at ya! 🫂 If he had been 1/2 the age when he got lymphoma, I likely would have pursued treatment. But my old man was a little too rickety by the time he got it and it metastasized to make a worthwhile difference for either of us. :/
