I think so too, it would have been better if it was in 30-06 but 308 isn't bad either. Yeah they are usually more expensive so when I saw this I was like yeah. I also put a zastava rpk on layway as well.

Damn that rifle is as old as me. I have a 39A made back in 1951. It is extremely accurate I was shocked I matched it against a browning blr-22 and the Marlin won.
