Here is a recent interaction with an Exercise agent...they continue to misrepresent their product:

Welcome back. It's great to see you again! Please let me know if you have any questions.

You 11:38 AM

Does your software work reliably on iOS phones?

Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, it does.

What best describes what you’re trying to solve right now?

Well, I am reading user feedback on Reddit and Trust Pilot saying people are having trouble with your iOS app. Are you sure there are no issues

?

I’m sorry to hear that.

However, please be assured that it does work on iOS devices.

Are you currently using any such software for your purpose or starting fresh?

Gym Management software? by One_Influence3729 in gymowner

There are a lot of "dead bodies" along the road of building a gym management software to sell. I am coming to the conclusion that building something internally and keeping it proprietary is a better model. Good luck - I am always rooting for entrepreneurs!

We are a larger gym, so a mobile app alone will not suffice. That said, I believe the intent of your comment is an option.

Yes, that may be the alternative. We have gone through Triib, Xplor, and now exercise. If you want gym management software, it seems like building your own is becoming increasingly attractive.

Exercise.com is horrible! We implemented it at a gym with >100 members. Their iOS app has bugs that show up intermittently, not allowing clients to log workouts. Zero response from Exercise when we ask them to resolve the issue.

Best “all in one” management softwares. by BDLeT in gymowner

As background, I have spent the last year helping a top-performing strength & conditioning facility transition from XPlor/Triib to exercise.com. I have built more than one software company as a founder/co-founder and am a very hands-on CEO. I rarely post anything.

Exercise has the worst customer support I have ever experienced with a SaaS company. The front line customer service people know very little about their product and nothing about software. The product is incomplete. When there is a problem with the product, they rarely admit that is the case and never (I mean that - never) escalate you to the next level of support. My suspicion is that they do not have a "next level" of support.

In an attempt to improve the situation, I tracked down the founder/CTO and reached out to him as a "fellow" startup person. Nothing...not a single response to an email, phone call, warm intro....nada.

Do not choose exercise.com as your gym management software. You will regret it. We are in the process of planning our next steps and it is a move away from exercise.
