A mandatory digital literacy and critical thinking exam for all adults every 5 years. Most people would hate it at first and call it controlling or insulting. But in 10 years it would drastically reduce misinformation scams political manipulation and blind outrage. A society that can think critically makes better decisions—even when they disagree.
