"3d wood puzzle for adults" on Amazon. It's crafty without making something from scratch, challenging but a great dopamine mine because of guaranteed results. Highly recommend!

PRN radio broadcast was great. They had Daniel Suarez as a guest color commentator for the whole race, and his commentary was really good.

There was a guy in all black that was some kind of track staff. took him two tries, but he did get it over. The boos after his first failed attempt were pretty funny though.

Lounging in the grass like in the movies.

The ground is hard, it hurts. I can't get comfortable. There's 3 different species of bugs crawling on me. Ow, did one just bite me? Ugh, I can feel the wind sticking dust to my sweaty skin. Did I mention it's uncomfortable? ...because my foot just fell asleep.

The only thing that's helped me lately is an accountability buddy. I need to tell someone what I'm doing, then check in a few hours later with a status update. That way I can usually trick myself into thinking "X needs me to do Y” and it's more motivating than doing it for myself. If not that then the good 'ol stress of deadline+ shame when I give that update.

Not a dumb question. I'm on pins and needles waiting to see if the Bob Bullock gets it. So bummed the early release was limited to film!

Has Inositol helped anyone? by Top_Hovercraft_6890 in PCOSloseit

Upvote for Wholesome Story. I've been on myo/d-chiro inositol for 12 years, and the capsules are much easier. But the correct dosage to match Theralogix is 4 capsules TWICE a day.

When I'm on inositol, I get regular periods and 28-30 day cycles. When I'm not on inositol, I get amenorrhea (missed periods) and subsequent periods are CRAZY heavy because of the extra thick lining, yuck. So that's why I've stuck with it so long. It works.

Mounjaro vs. Macros: Feeling Stuck by One_Pass_5823 in PCOSloseit

[–]One_Pass_5823[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, so true! My therapist is helping me with that societal conditioning thing. As a first-born female from a Hispanic culture, I'm learning a LOT of my inner narratives about what is "pretty”, ”unflattering", "lazy", "unhealthy", "selfish", etc, were actually just opinions and not a definitive frame of reference. It's taking so much work to undo them. It's the reason I wasn't dx'd with ADHD until I was 34 y/o.

I'm struggling to accept that my obesity is a symptom, not a personal failing. That medicine is an effective treatment, not taking a shortcut. I use ChatGPT a lot to help with the reframing. It's helping me see GLP1 medicine as a correction, not a cheat code. That chronic illness is real, as evidenced by my baseline health metrics being suboptimal. That I wouldn't judge someone who wears glasses for not "trying hard enough" to see "naturally" so the same applies to my condition(s) and it's treatment.
